She got married again later the same year to dancer Kevin Federline whom she had met three months before. Britney Spears plans to marry her lover David at Christmas but children are reportedly off the cards. She told her mother Lynne Spears that a winter wedding is on the cards for her and David Lucado. Britney wants to tie the knot before she starts her two-year residency in Las Vegas.
Wedding Plans of Britney Spears
Britney and David took her mum Lynne out to lunch recently to talk about their plans and told her they want to have a traditional church wedding near her family home in Louisiana at Christmas. The pair has even planned where they’ll be going on honeymoon. “They are then planning on heading off to Hawaii for a honeymoon before she starts in Vegas,” a source told Britain‘s Closer magazine.
The whirlwind romance started shortly after Britney’s split with former fiancé and manager Jason Trawick. Britney and Jason had planned to get married at the end of December, but they have been fighting non-stop so the wedding has now been called off. Her previous marriage to dancer Kevin Federline produced the pop star’s two children Jayden James and Sean Preston.
David, a 27-year-old legal assistant, is four years Britney’s junior but his down to earth lifestyle has changed the Toxic singer for the better. But children are reportedly off the cards for now, as she is contractually bound to her Las Vegas residency which starts later this year.
“She’s the happiest and healthiest she’s been in years. She’d love to get pregnant again and maybe have a daughter. “It’s a massive blow that she’s going to have to wait, but she’s finally in a good place,” the source continued.
Britney, 31, moved David into her home just weeks after they confirmed their relationship. And now the couple is ready for the next step, despite the fact they’ve only been dating a short while. Although they’ve only been together seven months, she’s dreaming of a white wedding with her five-year-old niece Maddie as bridesmaid.
