What I can add to mixture of 7 minute frosting to make it chocolate?

Last time on my sister’s wedding I needed a blast and I made seven minute frosting. It was really yum and who does not like her work praising and so do I. Now this time I am going to make it again but I want to try a different flavor. So what do you think about making it again, with a chocolate flavor. What I can add to mixture to make it chocolate? I have never used chocolate extract – would that be all I need? Has anyone tried this? Or added anything to make other flavors like strawberry?
