Wedding days are extravagant affairs. Even if you had been saving for almost two years in a row for this special day of your life, ultimately you will find that you are still short of cash.
After surveying almost 2,500 British couples the savings bank ING Direct reports that, at least one of the five couples for nearly five years had been regularly maintaining their saving to meet the wedding costs.
Surprisingly, now every one in ten couples would rather like to travel using that fund rather then spending it for that final day.
With the wedding cost reaching £17,000 per couple, many of them have altogether dropped the plan of getting married.
