My girlfriend is Indian, and we both have decided to get married in the traditional Hindu style. I am really fascinated with the ceremonies though, but since I am a Catholic, I don’t know about many of the rituals and wedding ceremonies that happen in a Hindu wedding. Her parents have arranged a grand reception at their place, and the next day would be the reception. However, since I have learnt from her that kissing ceremony is not a part of the wedding; I wanted to know from some wedding expert whether we could include it in reception, or you think it would be appropriate not to include it at all. I am a bit bewildered at things taking place in such haste, and I don’t want to get wrong with anything, so please advice suitably! Thanks.
