In the inner region of Mongolia and other big cities of the northern part of China, the younger generation is increasing picking up the traditional way of getting married.
Large number of couples are getting engaged and taking up to the earlier way of celebrating their wedding day. The traditional Mongolian Wedding features whole-roasted sheep, milk-wine and horse-head fiddle performances that is done in the traditional restaurants as well as in different banquet hall.
The most recent example is that of a civil servant who opted for the traditional ceremony over the modern ones. Likewise the bride and groom will be sporting Mongolian costumes.
