It was a heart touching moment for all those who were present at the burial ceremony of Sosamma Thomas (101) in the state of Kerela.
Happily married for 87 years Sosamma was 101 years old when she breathed her last on Sunday at Pampady. Information from St Simon’s Jacobite Syrian Church unveils that Thomas and Sosamma got married in the year 1918 when they were just 13 years old.
Few lucky couple gets to enjoy such a happy journey of pure wedded happiness for such long years. Sosamma leaves behind her husband, four daughters, three sons and 15 grandchildren along.
This was the end for the World’s Longest Marriage.
