My husband’s best friend is getting married, and since he is from Philippines, the wedding is going to be in the traditional Filipino style. He has even presented a Barong to my husband, which he is supposed to wear at the wedding, as a part of the Philippine culture. I found it quite traditional, and therefore, I want to know from some wedding expert whether money could be given as gift for the wedding there, as I could not think of any other suitable option about the gifts in Filipino wedding traditions, and when is the right time to give it to the bride and groom. Please help me with some suitable advice regarding the important things, which should be bore in mind as a guest in a traditional Filipino wedding! Thanks.
