One of my friends got married around six months ago, and unfortunately, I could not attend her wedding, as I had to leave for Chicago with my husband to attend his uncle’s funeral. I just forgot about the marriage, until today, when I was looking at my dance certificate, which I won for a group dance, and she was a part of it as well. Nevertheless, I wanted to know, that since six months has passed by her wedding, do you think it would be appropriate to send her a wedding present. Is it likely for her to even remember, whether I attended or not? Moreover, I would like to ask for an advice whether I should mention the exact reason on a note with her wedding present, if at all I should send it. Please advice appropriately! Thanks.
