My best friend is marrying a Japanese girl who happened to be his office colleague. Since the to be bride is the only daughter of her parents and my pal is quite a sensitive guy, he wants to arrange for traditional Japanese gifts for her family and friends. Since I have been given this task of arranging for gifts, I want to know what gifts are given as per the Japanese wedding tradition? I have learnt about the Kimono sash, but it would be meant for the bride, moreover, I don’t know whether clothing is a good option for gifts for men in their tradition.
