Does silk make a suitable option for faux flowers for a backyard wedding?

I am getting married in a few weeks’ time, and since we are expecting a few guests, we planned it at my uncle’s backyard, which is quite huge, and following, which would be a grand reception at his farmhouse. I had a few apprehensions on using real flowers, as I thought it to be a great idea to reuse the faux flowers for the reception party, which is going to be a day after our wedding ceremony! I wanted to know whether a silk flower would look great for faux flower at the party! Since the wedding is going to be in the backyard, and there are no flowers there, except for two old evergreen trees, I wanted to confirm from a wedding expert whether silk would be suitable for the decoration or not! Please help with some useful suggestions at the earliest! Thanks.
