My daughter is going to get married to her boyfriend now, after delivering a baby! My husband never wanted that to happen, and he was rigid asking our daughter to get married to her boyfriend when she was still pregnant. Nonetheless, he has consented to pay for the wedding expenses he is not ready to be a part of the wedding ceremonies. My daughter and I are equally disappointed and disheartened, but nothing seems to move him from his decision. Since the wedding is now going to take place next month, I was wondering if my younger son could undertake the task of performing wedding toasts in place of the father of the bride! Can some wedding expert please tell, if it would be appropriate to do? Please advice of something suitable!
