As reported by NDTV, Wedding insurance is the latest rend in the wedding market. This is particularly evident in Gujarat (India). The package covers everything that is included in the wedding ceremony.
The insurance trend was started in July last year by the Bajaj Allianz. Till date more than 29,000 policies has been already sold with nearly 23,000 bought by the Gujrati’s alone.
Hiren Vora, Regional Manager, from Bazaa Allianz said that their very first policy was sold in Ahmedabad and Gujarat comes at the top of all other sates. He also said that with lots of wedding ceremony coming up every other day, the insurance is flourishing day by day.
