Trang is all gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary of under-water wedding. The celebration dates back to the year 2000, a collaborated venture of Thai Airways International, Trang Province and the local chamber of commerce.
The event will start on the 13th of Feb till 15th. In its inaugural ceremony in the Millennium the organization created a record breaking history by occupying a prestigious place in the Guinness Book of world record with around thirty participants taking part in the event from over twenty-eight different nations.
This incident gave rise to media frenzy with paparazzi thronging the occasion from every nook and corner of the world to have an exclusive coverage of the under0-water event.
This under-water ceremony follows the traditional style of Thai wedding rituals. The required qualification level to be a part of the incident is a licensed diver.
